I took a Photoshop course where I designed my own plaid patterns, floral patterns, colorways, and store layouts. Although I did not personally draw or design the clothing items shown, I did create original color concepts and floor plans.

· Performed professional and personal tasks for the President and founder of Cocchia Clothing, a small private business that designs and produces contemporary women’s golf wear.

· Assisted sales and marketing agent with tradeshow preparations and promotions.

· Prepared sample garments for catalogue photo shoot, and liaisoned between stylist and model.

· Organized garments, shoes and accessories for runway show.

· Assisted stylist/designer with pre-show tasks, including sizing adjustments and run-through.

· Worked closely with company designer to organize fabric and trim books.


Living and Working in Japan

English Instructor

· Taught Japanese adult students using English learning texts and tools in a small class setting, up to four students per class.

· Planned and individualized lessons to fit each student’s levels and needs.

· Designed and facilitated English conversation sessions, involving large student groups.

· Trained to teach children ages 3-12 years old.


Special Project


Chocolate Festival, La Jolla, CA, Spring 2004
Co-creator
• Planned and initiated the first Sixth College Chocolate Festival event at university campus.
• Gathered donations from local companies and school organizations to help fund event.
• Publicized event through campus media.
• Organized volunteers to work, and supervised all duties on the day of event.
